Safety & Health at Time Travel Escapes
We want every group to have an amazing time—comfortably and confidently. Here’s what to expect for classic escape rooms and VR escape games, plus tips to help your visit go smoothly.
Guest safety overview
Our Game Masters are here to guide you, keep gameplay safe, and help your team have fun. If anything feels uncomfortable at any point, let us know—we can pause, adjust, or end the experience.
Safety
How we keep you safe
Before you start, we’ll review rules, boundaries, and how to get help during the game.
Accessibility
Physical requirements
Escape rooms involve moving around a themed space, standing for most of the game, and using hands for puzzles. If you have mobility concerns, please contact us before booking so we can recommend the best option.
Sensory
Lights and sound
Some experiences may include dim lighting, sound effects, or flashing lights. If your group has sensitivities, reach out and we’ll help you choose the most comfortable game.
Health, cleaning, and emergencies
A few quick guidelines to help everyone have a great experience.
Please don’t attend if you’re unwell
If you have a fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or other contagious symptoms, please reschedule. Contact us and we’ll help you find a better time.
Cleaning and sanitisation
High-touch surfaces are cleaned regularly, and we maintain a tidy play environment. Hand sanitizer is available—feel free to use it before and after your game.
Emergency procedures
If there’s an emergency, follow staff instructions. Exits will be identified during your briefing, and our team can end the game immediately if needed.
Age recommendations and supervision
We recommend that minors are supervised by an adult. Some puzzles and themes may be better suited for older kids—contact us if you’d like a recommendation for your group.
What to bring and what to wear
Wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes. Bring any needed glasses or hearing aids. Please keep personal items minimal so you can move freely.
Stairs and mobility notes
If stairs are required for a specific experience, we’ll let you know during booking or when you contact us. If you have mobility needs, reach out in advance so we can recommend the best room or VR option.
VR Safety
VR safety guidance
VR is exciting and immersive, but it can feel intense for some players. If you’re new to VR, we’ll help you get comfortable and encourage breaks as needed.
Take breaks if you feel dizzy or nauseous
Tell staff about seizure history or light sensitivity
Stop immediately if you feel unwell
Adjust headset fit for comfort
